Pesticide pits & landfills

Burial pits of obsolete pesticides (237, most of them already liquidated) and about 1,900 waste landfills, hazardous and inert, active and closed, from the Polish Geological Institute database. These are places where soil and water may be contaminated. Before buying a plot nearby, ask the municipality whether the site has been remediated.
